Our customers have a choice of two different forms of abrasive blasting. We offer glass bead blasting as well as sandblasting.

glass bead blasting

Glass bead blasting uses lower air pressure than sandblasting. Furthermore, glass beads are generally softer than sand and therefore do not impact the surface structure of an item. This method is used to remove dirt, burrs, and rust and also produces an absolutely clean surface. This is essential for a high quality coating.

Sandblasting is used to remove all kinds of impurities from larger steel parts. We always recommend to sandblast any hot-dip galvanized item before powder coating it. The maximum size for parts to be processed in our modern sandblasting facility is 10 m x 3 m x 3 m.
